Garlic is most widely used home cold remedies. It consists of antibacterial substance that boosts the immune system. It is best when taken with honey. Take a clove of sliced fresh garlic and mix it with half cup honey. After approx. 8 hours stir honey and garlic mixture and sip throughout the day. Store any excess in the refrigerator when not in use.

#2. Licorice Root :

It is also known as Glycyrrhiza glabra.it is a natural demulcent It can also use to soothe colds, sore throats, coughing and digestive upsets. Licorice root has been used for centuries to comfort and relieve coughing and various other disorders affecting the respiratory and digestive system. It is also used as a medicinal drug to clear hyperemia from the lungs.

#3. Black pepper and honey :

To stay away from cough and cold, drink pepper tea in the morning. It is best when it taken with honey. Take 5 to 6 black pepper, heat this on slow flame and grind them into fine powder. Mix half spoon of honey and eat this mixture to overcome the cough. You can do this regularly in the morning to see better results.

Due to cough our mucous membrane becomes dry. If you take plenty of water in a day this helps you to keep hydrate. Drinking liquids also helps to keep mucous membranes moist. It is a natural and powerful expectorant. Its oil is used as a germ-killer in mouthwashes and lotions. In summer-seasonal, fresh greenhouse thyme is often available year round. The storage life Thyme is very less i.e. rarely more than a week. It also reliefs from loosens phlegm.it is better when this tea is take with honey, turmeric powder etc.

#7. Turmeric :

It has an antibacterial property. For a dry cough, it is best to take turmeric tea. Turmeric powder mixed with a teaspoon of honey taken three to four times a day is effectual. Moreover, hot milk with turmeric is a traditional remedy to cure cough. For making its tea, you can also take turmeric powder into four cups of boiling water. Keep for a few minutes, stir and mix in some lemon and honey to the liquid and drink.

It is very effective for cough and cures body ache which is related with cough. Cumin seeds can be used in many ways.it is not just a food but also better to cure many diseases. Fry, one teaspoon cumin seed, 2-3 black pepper seeds, 3-4 cloves of garlic and 4-5 tablespoon finely chopped spinach, and make paste. You can eat this paste with steamed rice.

#10. Take a hot shower :
